As your candidate for city council, I am dedicated to serving the greater Lafayette community, bringing fresh ideas, transparency, and commitment to our town's progress.
Open Space Advisory Board (8 years)
- Member of LOSAB for the past 8 years, and currently Vice Chair.
- Involved in the advising on the acquisition of several important parcels of land to maintain as open space, including the Waneka Centennial Farm.
Lafayette Urban Renewal Authority (7 years)
- Appointed, and subsequently reappointed a Commissioner to server on the Lafayette Urban Renewal Authority.
- Helped remove and prevent blight in the project area. Provided expertise via background in commercial real estate and asset management.
- Led the COVID-19 business support grant committee, to provide financial support in the early days of COVID.
- Assisted numerous businesses in the Old Town project area, and helped educate the other commissioners on the way that retail businesses function, and the perspective of the landlord in different situations.
